How are you? I'm doing alright. Spring has come very quickly to Manitoba, and all the snow we got over February (the only month we had snow, pretty much) is now gone!

This was yesterday! |
My job isn't going so great these days. I only get 16 hours a week (which is up from 10 - yay!) which is not enough. I had a job interview yesterday, which will be my third in 7 months and a hundred job applications. Some facts: I was nervous. I hate interviews. 120 people applied for the job, so I'm lucky I even got called. It was just a first interview, so we'll see if I even get called for another interview. I hate interviews. I need a full-time job desperately. Prayers are much appreciated.
Do any of you people in a relationship have fun date ideas? And I don't mean dates in theory - I mean dates that you actually do. Chris has been so busy with school that we haven't had much time for dates, and when we do we're in a bit of a rut. I'd like to do something different!
1 more week until the Hunger Games movie is out! I'm so excited!!! I'm going with my sister and our friend next Saturday. We don't dare face the theater on Friday evening. Scary idea!
This weekend is going to be pretty low-key. I have no plans for tonight. Tomorrow and Sunday I'll be singing on the worship team, so that leaves Sunday afternoon free. No plans for then either. Maybe I'll see what my friends are doing - we have to take advantage of this beautiful weather!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend as well, my friends!

I will pray, and keep everything crossed for you! Hopefully you get the job!
ReplyDeleteI am SO excited about The Hungers Games! I'm re-reading the series so it's fresh in my mind :D
Date nights ... hmmm ... dinner, movies and bowling seem to be the main suggestions people give. But if you're after something different how about a weekend bike ride and picnic? Or a fun night at a games centre (we call it Time Zone here. Like an arcade?). A bush walk and take fun photos on the way? Act like tourists in your own city and take touristy photos of everything and eat in cafes etc you wouldn't normally go too. Hire out a movie neither of you have seen and make delicious ice cream sundaes to eat while you're watching.
Do any of those suggestions help?
x Jasmine
I will keep my fingers crossed for you so you will get that new job as soon as possible..
